A spring afternoon in Paris, Place La Fontaine Stravinsky. The sun is shining, the terraces are packed, and a young guitarist gathers more and more listening audience around him. My fiancé and I watch the scene from a distance and become enchanted by his sounds. And then he suddenly performs “Praat Nederlands Met Me.” At that moment, we knew: this is THE musician for our wedding.
A summer evening in Oria, southern Italy. A young guitarist sings about a chilly morning in Paris. We found Niek’s beautiful cover of Ed Sheeran’s Tenerife Sea on Youtube and immediately knew we wanted to book him for our wedding. He completely made four of our favourite songs his own and sang them at our ceremony, where we had tears in our eyes. And he also stole the show during the reception with his beautiful authentic voice and infectious charisma. What a performer! As far as we are concerned, the question is not if he will break through, but when.

After our meeting, I’ll send you a detailed quote based on what we’ve discussed, and you’ll have two weeks to consider and decide. If you choose to have me perform at your wedding, I’ll ask for a 30% down payment to secure the date in my calendar. And then, the fun begins!
If I’m performing during your ceremony, you can select 3 to 5 songs that I’ll add my own flair and style to, making them uniquely yours. If you’re looking for inspiration, I’ve created a Spotify playlist with my favorite wedding songs, which we’ll also use to shape the setlist for your reception, dinner, or any other part of the day. Once you’ve chosen your ceremony songs, I’ll share demos of my version of them so you can hear exactly how they’ll sound in my style. When we finalize the song choices, we’ll both be ready to look forward to the big day!
On your wedding day, I’ll arrive well in advance to set up and make sure everything is in place. I’ll also go over the details once more with the master of ceremonies or maid of honor, just to make sure we’re all aligned. When the ceremony starts, I’ll bring your chosen songs to life, creating unforgettable moments. You’re now husband and wife! After this beautiful moment, I’ll move my setup to the next location (if applicable), where I’ll perform the special setlist we’ve prepared, while you relax and soak in the memories from the ceremony.
After the performance, we’ll part ways and your beautiful memories will live on! I’ll then send you the final invoice for the remaining 70% of the payment and ensure everything went just as you envisioned.

My setup is designed to provide high-quality sound no matter where your special day takes place. I use a portable amplifier that ensures a clear and rich sound—whether it’s plugged into an outlet or powered by a battery. This makes it perfect for both indoor and outdoor settings, including ceremonies at locations where power points may not be readily available, such as a beach or other remote venue.
When performing with Laia, her violin is also amplified, creating a harmonious and full sound that will beautifully complement your ceremony and reception.
I usually get booked about two years in advance, so the earlier you reach out, the better the chances of securing your desired date. However, don’t hesitate to ask about my availability at any time— I still have some open dates for the 2025 and 2026 wedding seasons!
